Over the years, BIC Services have volunteered our cleaning skills to keep many of the Property Industry Foundation’s (PIF) Haven Houses spick and span, and this year we’ve embarked on a new walking challenge, raising funds for the Foundation to support their good works.

Walk-for-Good invites BIC employees to take steps to support homeless youth.

“Walk-for-Good is a DIY fitness challenge that challenges you to get out with your workmates, pets, friends, or family and get walking to raise awareness and funds for homeless youth,” explains Jazmin Dobrovolskyi – BIC’s HR Officer (NSW).

The past few weeks has seen a dedicated group of BIC team members taking a stroll in support of good health and a good cause. “The staff from BIC that have participated in Walk-for-Good have enjoyed getting out and about in the community to raise awareness and funds for homeless youth,” says Jazmin. “BIC understands and supports the Foundation’s goal to build homes for homeless youth, where they can also rebuild their lives. No young person should be sleeping on the streets.”

You can expect to see BIC out and about raising awareness for homeless youth in other ways during 2023. “BIC looks forward to participating in more Property Industry Foundation fundraising challenges, Workerbee’s, and events such as the Sydney Charity Regatta,” says Jazmin.

“With other supporters of the Foundation, we believe we can not only make an incredible impact on the lives of homeless youth together, but create awareness and influence further change within our communities.”
