As a business we play a crucial role in reducing the impact we have on the environment. BIC is committed to conservation of natural resources, minimisation of waste and maintaining the natural environment.
We are always striving for best practice in environmental management and sustainability and we work in partnership with our clients to find sustainability improvements, reduce environmental impact of waste and improve recycling levels through management and education.
Our management team, including Regional, Area and Site Managers, recently attended a tailored Green Cleaning ‘Champions’ Program which was designed specifically around three objectives:
- To reinforce BIC Services’ green practices and why they are important;
- To teach our managers how to motivate staff to implement and adhere to them; and
- To embed sustainable thinking through our whole operations and create cultural change.
The course was led by – Bridget Gardner one of Australia’s leading expert in sustainable, safe and hygienic cleaning standards.
