Behind the Scenes – Meet Tina Nolimaio, Office Coordinator

Introducing Tina Nolimaio, our BIC Office Coordinator.

We asked Tina to spare 5 minutes of her time to answer some questions.

 

How long have you been working at BIC for?

7 years.

What does your day look like?

My day consists of a variety of ad-hoc tasks as well as looking after reception, assisting payroll and supporting my Executive Managers. It is usually a full and busy day with lots of juggling of many different aspects of the business.

What is the most important part of your role?

Making sure the office runs smoothly, all tasks are completed and forward planning for the next day. Making sure the Executive Mangers have what they need is also key as they are on the front-line dealing with our clients.

What do you love most about working for BIC?

I love that we are one big family that support and look after each other. I have been here for 7 years and the team is my work family. We work closely together, sometimes with tight deadlines, so we know each other well.

What skills and tools do you need to work in the cleaning industry?

You need to be hard-working, have attention to detail and be flexible, as things can change from one minute to the next. As the industry is very dynamic, you need to be organised and always prepared and ready to jump in.

Best advice you can give on working in the industry?

Be kind to everyone, be organised and thorough in what you do. This is an ever growing and changing industry so staying current is essential. With the many different types of clients we work with, keeping in tune with their requirements is key. Also, enjoy what you do, with working in such a dynamic industry, every day is new.
